Report Absence

The student day is 8:35 am until 3:05 pm for BELLS and LFI. 

For TCA, the hours are 7:45 am - 2:00 pm. 

 

If your child needs to be out of school for any reason, you may call the school at 410-751-3620 or use this link CSSAttendance@carrollk12.org .  Calling or emailing us ensures we can correctly code your child's absence.  

When should your child stay home?COVID Like Symptom

COVID-19 symptoms are any ONE of the following: fever of 100.4o or higher, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing, diarrhea or vomiting, new onset of severe headache (especially with fever), or new loss of taste or smell. For persons with chronic conditions such as asthma, the symptoms should represent a change from baseline

Fever

A temperature over 100.0 is considered a fever. Students need to be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school. 

Vomiting

Students need to be vomit free for 24 hours without medication before returning to school.  We are always asked about diarrhea as well.  Loose bowels may be attributed to more than illness.  If it continues OR cannot be contained, your child should stay home.
