Programs

The BELLS program supports our youngest learners who have complex communication, social interaction, and behavioral needs as part of CCPS'  SUCCESS program. SUCCESS stands for Skill development and Universal design for Children with Communication and Extensive Support needs in School.  Our program here at Carroll Springs, is a special education program designed for students ages 3-5.  As part of the BELLS program, students receive integrated services from a special educator and variety of related service providers based upon their individualized education programs. The program itself is designed to help students acquire language, learn foundational skills important for learning in a classroom setting, and prepare students for kindergarten. 

LFI is a special education program for students who are working towards a Certificate of Completion.  Students are working on an alternate framework aligned with Maryland College and Career Readiness State Standards.  Many students in our LFI classes have complex medical needs they may not be able to be met in their home schools.  For a detailed description of the Program of Studies, please click here.
