About

Carroll Springs School is the public separate day school for students who need special education, and related services, have multiple severe disabilities and/or chronic health issues and who are between three and twenty-one years old. All students receive instruction in the Maryland College and Career Readiness State Standards and participate in all age-appropriate local and state assessments.

All classes at Carroll Springs School offer a low student to adult ratio, a highly structured classroom routine, and differentiated instruction to maximize student access to curricular content and materials.

The Carroll Springs School campus also houses other Carroll County Public Schools programs including the Family Support Network,  some of the Birth to K Team, the CCPS Assistive Technology Team, and CCPS Transition Connections Academy.
